Instead of a mock draft that has varying players every week, I thought I’d just discuss what each team is going to be seeking heading into the NFL draft. Can your team do something outside of this? Of course! Value picks will definitely impact their decisions, along with free agency decisions. But this is at least an introductory primer.
Buffalo Bills: They’re stymied a bit by not having their first round pick, but the Bills need to figure out a solution at quarterback. Are they giving EJ Manuel another shot? Are they rolling the dice with Kyle Orton again? Dak Prescott has a similar playing style, and some similar performance questions, as Tim Tebow. He and Brett Hundley could be available for them in Round 2. If they eschew the QB position, the Bills may look to offensive line help or secondary help, both of which will be a running theme in this article.
